Red Rock Canyon

We were greeted by stunning Red Rock Canyon which was only about 20 minutes just northwest of Bryce Canyon and our Bed & Breakfast that was waiting for us after our 4-hour drive from Las Vegas.

All shots from this post were taken within a 300ft. area right off the main road.  All who had driven so many miles without a break and ready to make their final destination stop at Bryce couldn't help but pull off to the side of the road to gawk in awe.

Entering the Bryce/Zion "Zone"

This is the beginning of our landscape trek adventure. Arriving from Las Vegas, as we turned the corner from I-15 onto 1-20 then onto US 89, or Bear Valley Junction in Utah, it became abundantly clear that we were driving into another world.

National Park Vacation Spot Selected!

"Dead Tree at Bryce Canyon at Dusk"
copyright 2007 by Howard A. Knudsen
After much deliberation, we decided with Zion & Bryce National Parks in Utah and possibly the Grand Canyon's north rim.  The weather was our primary concern.  It would be just too cold in early April for the likes of Yellowstone and others further up north.

We're excited to say the least.

National Park Vacation

We'll be celebrating the Spring season by visiting a national park somewhere in the U.S.  We haven't determined exactly which one yet, but looking at something off the beaten path from the east/west coast traffic lines; like maybe Yellowstone National Park.

Landscape and wildlife is one of my favorite forms of photography.  There's nothing better than sitting on a meadow in the dark, in the cold, with tripod and camera ready...then, feeling the warmth of the new day's sun as it creeps over the horizon clearing the fog to reveal nature's most astounding beauty, and capturing the moment.

Grand Opening!

Starting the New Year with a blast by introducing our website (Stephan Photography) where prints are available and portrait services coming by mid-February.

So many exciting things just around the corner.  We can't wait to get started with our first set of clients.  Our photography services pricing list is almost done and will be released shortly.

Limited time discounted pricing will be introduced for portfolio building.  Take advantage while the time lasts!
